TOP 10 BACK TO SCHOOL HAIR MUST HAVES

These are on my list this year! Trust me, they are affordable and will help you save some time in the morning running out the door…

  1. Tangle Teezer Brush: this brush is magic.. I mean magic. I have brushed thousands of heads and this brush helps me get through the toughest tangles. It is even my favorite for my little one and myself. It comes in so many colors and of course hot pink barbie!
  2. Fairy Tales Rosemary Leave-in Conditioner: Okay if you have kiddos in school… you know sometimes lice outbreaks can happen. This is a great detangler and with it having rosemary (which lice hates) its a great little security blanket.
  3. Tigi Bed Head Beeswax Stick: I love this so much because sometimes gel just doesn’t hold up and it makes the hair look flaky at the end of the day. This is great when you’re rushing and need to lay down those fly aways and baby hairs. Great for sleek pulled back looks!
  4. Heatless Curls: We have all seen these on tiktok… and let me just say these are great because you can even use these to get the “trendy” rollers look vibe and being able to sleep without the discomfort. It’s a must-have for those teens hitting the snooze button. The silk helps keep the hair frizz free and no heat damage.
  5. Elastics: Having a toddler myself, we go through elastics like it’s toilet paper. This kit is so fun with all the colors and it includes the tool to pull the ends through the elastics leaving a clean pony and really helps with tender heads.
  6. Living Proof Heat Styling Spray: I live in Texas so it is hot hot.. and using a heat protectant is crucial. I know this one is on the higher price point, but it is worth it. It’s my top seller to my clients not just for the smell, but for the fact it helps hold their style and has up to 450 degree coverage. If you have colored hair and you heat style regularly, this is my favorite because it is a dry spray, meaning you don’t have to risk it sizzling on your hot tools. Smells amaaazing!
  7. Retro Clips: Am I the only one obsessed with checkered things lately? These are so cute and I love that you get multiple styles. Perfect for matching with Vans and bright colors.
  8. Amika Round Brush Blowdryer: hear me out.. I know there are similar products out there. I have used almost all of them, but the Amika one just hits for me. I love it because it has the cool setting and I’m also not having to worry about the metal getting as hot as some other ones out there. It’s convenient so just remember how often you would use this… I also love their warranty so if it messes up you can reach out to Amika. (reminder** do not use this on sopping wet hair)
  9. Silk Scrunchies: I love me some scrunchies. Silk ones are better for the hair, especially if you have fine or curly hair. It helps with preventing friction and doesn’t pull the hair. If you’re involved in sports that require tight ponies, this is my go to. (we don’t want added breakage around our hairlines)
  10. Boar Bristle Wet Brush: I love me some wet brushes, but this one is awesome for needing that sleek pony or adding shine to the hair. I like that there are still bristles to help detangle, but its awesome for sleep looks and laying down baby hairs.
